How Your Piece Is Made

Made to order

How your piece is made

Nothing we sell sits in a drawer waiting. Every piece is started for you when you order — your size, your metal, your diamond — then inspected, independently tested and only then sent to your door. This is the whole journey.

Step 01

You place your order

Your size, your metal, your diamond specification. We confirm the details and your expected timeframe in writing, so nothing starts until it is right.

Step 02

Your piece is crafted for you

Specialist setters cast the metal and set every lab-grown diamond by hand to our D–F colour, VS1-or-better standard — made for you from scratch, not picked from a shelf.

Step 03

We inspect it by hand

Every single piece is checked personally — the setting, the finish, the sizing, the stones — before it goes any further. If it is not right, it does not ship. It goes back and is made right.

Step 04

It is tested by people who don't work for us

Every gold piece over one gram — and silver over 7.78 grams — goes to the London Assay Office, where the metal is independently tested and the hallmark (585, 750 or 925) is struck into the piece. It is the oldest consumer protection in Britain: nobody’s word for the quality is needed, including ours. And any piece with a centre stone of 1.00ct or more — silver or gold — includes its independent IGI grading report in the price.

Step 05

Delivered to you, insured

Tracked, signed for and fully insured, free anywhere in the UK. From the moment it leaves us to the moment it is on your hand, it is covered.

How long it takes

Sterling silver: around four weeks from order to dispatch.

Gold: around four to five weeks, which includes UK hallmarking where required.

We confirm your expected timeframe in writing when you order. The wait is the point: it is being made for you.
