Choosing a lab-grown diamond statement necklace
Riviere, line or lariat
A riviere is a continuous line of lab-grown diamonds around the neck, often graduated so the largest stones sit at the front. Tennis and line necklaces keep each lab-grown diamond evenly sized. A lariat finishes in a drop rather than a clasp at the front.
Shape sets the mood
Round brilliant lab-grown diamonds give the brightest, most classic line. Emerald and marquise cuts create a sharper, more architectural look, and pear-cut drops add movement at the centre.
Total carat weight
Necklaces are described by total carat weight, the combined weight of every lab-grown diamond. On multi-stone designs the lab-grown diamonds are matched to one another for colour and clarity rather than graded one by one.

Is a riviere necklace the same as a tennis necklace? They are closely related. Both are continuous lines of lab-grown diamonds; a riviere is often graduated in size, while a tennis necklace usually keeps every lab-grown diamond the same size.
