Lab-grown diamond quality

Every lab-grown diamond is D–F colour and VS1 clarity or better. Round brilliant lab-grown diamonds can receive a formal cut grade; fancy shapes are assessed through their proportions, polish, symmetry and overall make. Any piece whose centre stone, on its own, weighs 1.00ct or more includes an individual IGI grading report as standard. Total carat weight does not count towards this.
Look twice and Akari reveals its second character. What first appears to be a flowing infinity pendant carries a butterfly at the exact place its lines cross, a small discovery that makes the piece feel personal. Set in 925 sterling silver, the combined motif has a light, contemporary character suited to a thoughtful gift.
Across the design, 36 round lab-grown diamonds create the detail. Thirty measure 1.10mm and six measure 1.40mm, using prong and pavé settings for approximately 0.25ct in total. At approximately 16.4mm, Akari gives both the looping symbol and the butterfly enough room to be seen clearly in a single piece.

Sterling silver naturally darkens a little over time. It is normal, and a silver polishing cloth brings it straight back. Please don't use silver dip solutions on lab-grown diamond-set pieces, as the chemicals can damage the settings. Wear Akari over a block colour so the loop and butterfly remain easy to distinguish. It works well with tiny round studs and a fine silver chain. The pendant comes without a chain, though a matching 18-inch cable chain in 925 sterling silver can be included with the order.
