Lab-grown diamond quality
D–F colour · VS1 clarity or better
Every lab-grown diamond is D–F colour and VS1 clarity or better. Round brilliant lab-grown diamonds can receive a formal cut grade; fancy shapes are assessed through their proportions, polish, symmetry and overall make. Any piece whose centre stone, on its own, weighs 1.00ct or more includes an individual IGI grading report as standard. Total carat weight does not count towards this.
Turn the emerald cut sideways and its whole attitude changes. Alnilam places each long stone east to west, so the facets travel across the wrist in broad steps and answer every movement in sequence.
There are 28 emerald-cut lab-grown diamonds, each measuring 5.30 × 3.30mm and secured in a collet setting. Their horizontal arrangement forms a continuous line of approximately 8.96ct across an approximately 8-inch bracelet. Long, broad rectangles give this design its own pace, with every long side contributing to the width and flow of the row.
Alnilam makes the east-to-west orientation its signature, using the long side of every emerald cut to build a broad visual rhythm. Twenty-eight stones deliver approximately 8.96ct without interrupting that horizontal direction. Choose 14kt for the harder, more scratch-resistant gold, or 18kt for more pure gold and a heavier feel. Select White, Yellow or Rose Gold to frame the cool geometry your way.
Every piece is crafted to order in your chosen metal. Our usual timeline is around four weeks from order to dispatch, which includes UK hallmarking where required. More complex pieces may take slightly longer. We confirm the expected timeframe in writing before production begins.
Wear Alnilam as the main line on the wrist, where the east-to-west stones can be seen clearly from end to end. If you add another piece, choose a plain gold bracelet in the same metal colour and leave the elongated 5.30 × 3.30mm pattern to lead.
What does east to west mean on Alnilam?
Each emerald-cut lab-grown diamond is set east to west, so its long facets catch the light in sequence as the wrist moves. This east-to-west orientation repeats through all 28 stones, creating Alnilam's distinctive horizontal line around the wrist.
What are the stone size and total weight?
Alnilam uses 28 emerald-cut lab-grown diamonds measuring 5.30 × 3.30mm each. Together they have an approximate total lab-grown diamond weight of 8.96ct across the approximately 8-inch bracelet.
How are Alnilam's stones held?
Every emerald-cut lab-grown diamond is held in a collet setting. The same setting repeats throughout the continuous east-to-west row, preserving the measured geometry of the 28-stone design.
