Lab-grown diamond quality
D–F colour · VS1 clarity or better
Every lab-grown diamond is D–F colour and VS1 clarity or better. Round brilliant lab-grown diamonds can receive a formal cut grade; fancy shapes are assessed through their proportions, polish, symmetry and overall make. Any piece whose centre stone, on its own, weighs 1.00ct or more includes an individual IGI grading report as standard. Total carat weight does not count towards this.
The teardrop is left open, and that changes everything. Rae outlines the shape instead of filling it, creating a pair with visible space at its centre and a fine trail of stones along the curve. It has length and movement without becoming visually heavy.
Eight round lab-grown diamonds follow the openwork design across the pair. Four measure 1.10mm and four measure 1.25mm, all held in pave settings, with an approximate combined weight of 0.06ct. Each earring spans approximately 16 x 14.8mm. The two stone sizes add subtle variation, while the open centre lets the teardrop remain the first thing you see.

Rae gives a light stone weight a generous visual outline, using open space to make the teardrop feel larger and more distinctive. Eight pave-set lab-grown diamonds guide the eye around the approximately 16 x 14.8mm form, with two sizes adding measured variation. Each lab-grown diamond is D to F colour and VS1 clarity or better. Choose 14kt for the harder, more scratch-resistant gold, or 18kt for more pure gold and a heavier feel.

What sizes are Rae's lab-grown diamonds?
Across the pair, Rae has four 1.10mm and four 1.25mm round lab-grown diamonds. All eight stones are pave set along the open teardrop outline.
How large is the Rae teardrop design?
Each earring measures approximately 16 x 14.8mm. The centre is open, so that profile comes from the outlined teardrop rather than a solid face.
Is there a sterling silver Rae?
Yes. Rae is available as a separate 925 sterling silver version. The gold design can be ordered in 14kt or 18kt White, Yellow or Rose Gold.
