Lab-grown diamond quality
D–F colour · VS1 clarity or better
Every lab-grown diamond is D–F colour and VS1 clarity or better. Round brilliant lab-grown diamonds can receive a formal cut grade; fancy shapes are assessed through their proportions, polish, symmetry and overall make. Any piece whose centre stone, on its own, weighs 1.00ct or more includes an individual IGI grading report as standard. Total carat weight does not count towards this.
A pear shape changes with the slightest turn of the head. Rounded at one end and drawn to a point at the other, Niamh brings direction and character to the familiar simplicity of a solitaire stud. It is a pair for someone who likes restraint, but never wants ordinary.
Each earring centres on a 5.00mm x 3.00mm pear cut lab-grown diamond of 0.25ct. Together the two stones give the pair approximately 0.50ct in total. With each earring measuring approximately 5.8 x 6.4mm, the design allows the distinctive pear outline to do the work, framed by your choice of white, yellow or rose gold.
Also in sterling silver. Niamh is available in 925 sterling silver — see the silver version.
Niamh keeps the ease of a solitaire stud while giving each ear a precise pear shape. Each 5.00mm x 3.00mm lab-grown diamond brings a point, a curve and a clear sense of direction, with approximately 0.50ct across the pair. Choose 14kt for the harder, more scratch-resistant gold, or 18kt for more pure gold and a heavier feel. A 925 sterling silver version is also available.
Every piece is crafted to order in your chosen metal. Our usual timeline is around four weeks from order to dispatch, which includes UK hallmarking where required. More complex pieces may take slightly longer. We confirm the expected timeframe in writing before production begins.
Niamh works close to the ear, where the pear outline can be seen without competing with the rest of your jewellery. Wear the pair with a simple pendant for daytime, then add other earrings if you have multiple piercings. White, yellow or rose gold lets them join the palette you already wear.
What size are the pear cut lab-grown diamonds in Niamh?
Each pear cut lab-grown diamond measures 5.00mm x 3.00mm and weighs 0.25ct. The two stones create an approximate total lab-grown diamond weight of 0.50ct for the pair.
How large is each Niamh earring overall?
Each Niamh earring measures approximately 5.8 x 6.4mm. This gives the 5.00mm x 3.00mm pear cut lab-grown diamond a compact setting while keeping its pointed and rounded profile easy to recognise.
Can I choose Niamh in a metal that matches my jewellery?
Yes. Niamh is made to order in 14kt or 18kt white, yellow or rose gold, and a separate 925 sterling silver version is also available. The gold pair is made in around four weeks.
