Lab-grown diamond quality
D–F colour · VS1 clarity or better
Every lab-grown diamond is D–F colour and VS1 clarity or better. Round brilliant lab-grown diamonds can receive a formal cut grade; fancy shapes are assessed through their proportions, polish, symmetry and overall make. Any piece whose centre stone, on its own, weighs 1.00ct or more includes an individual IGI grading report as standard. Total carat weight does not count towards this.
A first pair should never feel like a compromise. Niamh offers a proper half carat across two pear cut lab-grown diamonds, choosing a smaller scale without losing the distinctive shape that makes the pair personal. It is an inviting way to begin with lab-grown diamonds, and an equally thoughtful gift for someone building their own jewellery collection.
Each pear cut lab-grown diamond weighs 0.25ct and measures 5.00mm by 3.00mm. Together they total approximately 0.50ct in 925 sterling silver. The complete earrings measure approximately 5.8 x 6.4mm each, giving Niamh a dainty footprint with a clearly recognisable pear profile.
Prefer gold? Niamh is also made in solid 14kt and 18kt gold — see the gold version.
Niamh makes a strong first lab-grown diamond pair because its scale is approachable while its pear shape feels considered. Two 0.25ct stones give approximately 0.50ct in total, and each one measures 5.00mm by 3.00mm. The earrings are made in 925 sterling silver. Every lab-grown diamond is D to F colour and VS1 clarity or better.
Every piece is crafted to order in your chosen metal. Our usual timeline is around four weeks from order to dispatch. More complex pieces may take slightly longer. We confirm the expected timeframe in writing before production begins.
Niamh's dainty size works from the start of the day, including with shirts, knitwear and simple weekend clothes. The pear shape stands out gently and stays easy to combine with a silver chain or bracelet. Keep nearby jewellery light so the small pointed profiles stay visible.
Sterling silver naturally darkens a little over time. It is normal, and a silver polishing cloth brings it straight back. Please don't use silver dip solutions on lab-grown diamond-set pieces, as the chemicals can damage the settings. Store it on its own in the pouch or box provided, and take it off before swimming, exercising or sleeping. See our Materials & Care guide for full instructions.
Why choose Niamh as a first lab-grown diamond pair?
Niamh combines an approachable scale with a defined pear shape. The earrings carry two 0.25ct pear cut lab-grown diamonds in 925 sterling silver, creating approximately 0.50ct across a pair designed as an introduction to lab-grown diamond jewellery.
What grade are Niamh's lab-grown diamonds?
Every pear cut lab-grown diamond in Niamh is D to F colour and VS1 clarity or better. The two stones are matched at 5.00mm by 3.00mm and 0.25ct each.
How should Niamh be cared for?
Keep Niamh in its own pouch or box, and remove the earrings before swimming, exercising or sleeping. A silver polishing cloth can refresh the 925 sterling silver, while silver dip solutions should be avoided around the settings.
