Lab-grown diamond quality
D–F colour · VS1 clarity or better
Every lab-grown diamond is D–F colour and VS1 clarity or better. Round brilliant lab-grown diamonds can receive a formal cut grade; fancy shapes are assessed through their proportions, polish, symmetry and overall make. Any piece whose centre stone, on its own, weighs 1.00ct or more includes an individual IGI grading report as standard. Total carat weight does not count towards this.
Turn the square onto its point and everything changes. Oriel takes a familiar geometric shape and gives it movement, placing an intricate lattice around a bright centre. The result feels precise from a distance and richly detailed when seen close up.
Interlocking curves and bars form an open interior, drawing towards a central quatrefoil set with round lab-grown diamonds. Four 1.10mm stones sit at the heart of each stud in micro-prong settings, while the surrounding metalwork remains airy. Approximately 10mm across, the point-up outline gives Oriel a distinctive profile without relying on a solid block of metal.
Also in sterling silver. Oriel is available in 925 sterling silver — see the silver version.
Oriel brings fine lattice work and a central cluster together in a stud that offers more detail each time you see it. The diagonal 10mm square frames eight round lab-grown diamonds across the pair without closing the design. Choose 14kt for the harder, more scratch-resistant gold, or 18kt for more pure gold and a heavier feel. It is also available as a separate 925 sterling silver design.
Every piece is crafted to order in your chosen metal. Our usual timeline is around four weeks from order to dispatch, which includes UK hallmarking where required. More complex pieces may take slightly longer. We confirm the expected timeframe in writing before production begins.
Let Oriel sit alone when you want its pointed square outline to read clearly. For a layered ear, pair it with a slim hoop that does not compete with the lattice. A fine pendant echoes its careful detail while keeping the geometric studs as the main feature.
Why is Oriel turned onto its point?
Each earring is a square turned point-up on the ear. This diagonal position frames the open lattice and central quatrefoil within a silhouette measuring approximately 10mm across.
What stones are used in the central clusters?
The pair contains eight round lab-grown diamonds, with four in each stud. Every stone measures 1.10mm and is held in a micro-prong setting.
Which gold colours are available for Oriel?
Oriel can be made in 14kt or 18kt White, Yellow or Rose Gold. These choices let the open lattice appear cool, warm or softly rosy around the central stones.
