Lab-grown diamond quality
D–F colour · VS1 clarity or better
Every lab-grown diamond is D–F colour and VS1 clarity or better. Round brilliant lab-grown diamonds can receive a formal cut grade; fancy shapes are assessed through their proportions, polish, symmetry and overall make. Any piece whose centre stone, on its own, weighs 1.00ct or more includes an individual IGI grading report as standard. Total carat weight does not count towards this.
Oriel is the stud for someone who notices the work inside the outline. Its pointed square gives a crisp first impression, then the fine silver lattice draws you closer, framing a compact centre of lab-grown diamonds. It feels considered from every angle, yet calm enough to become an everyday choice.
The diagonal shape measures approximately 10mm across. Within it, fine open silver work surrounds four 1.10mm round lab-grown diamonds in each earring. All eight stones are held in micro prong settings. The contrast between the geometric edge, intricate interior and cool 925 sterling silver gives Oriel its distinctive balance.
Prefer gold? Oriel is also made in solid 14kt and 18kt gold — see the gold version.
Choose Oriel when you want an everyday stud with plenty to discover. Its pointed 10mm outline gives the design definition, while the fine lattice is worked around the central lab-grown diamonds. Eight D to F colour, VS1 clarity or better lab-grown diamonds complete the pair. Oriel is made in 925 sterling silver and made to order in around four weeks.
Every piece is crafted to order in your chosen metal. Our usual timeline is around four weeks from order to dispatch. More complex pieces may take slightly longer. We confirm the expected timeframe in writing before production begins.
Oriel's pointed square works especially well with clean collars, fine chains and neatly tied hair. Worn on its own, the stud shows off its lattice, and a slim hoop in another piercing makes a quiet partner. Keep nearby pieces simple so the diagonal outline remains the strongest shape.
Sterling silver naturally darkens a little over time. It is normal, and a silver polishing cloth brings it straight back. Please don't use silver dip solutions on lab-grown diamond-set pieces, as the chemicals can damage the settings. Store it on its own in the pouch or box provided, and take it off before swimming, exercising or sleeping. See our Materials & Care guide for full instructions.
How much detail fits into each Oriel stud?
Each earring measures approximately 10mm across and combines a pointed square outline with fine latticework. Four round lab-grown diamonds sit within each open silver design.
What size are Oriel's stones?
All eight round lab-grown diamonds measure 1.10mm, with four in each earring. Micro prong settings hold the stones within the central part of the lattice.
Is Oriel suitable as an everyday silver piece?
Oriel is designed as an understated everyday stud in 925 sterling silver. Its approximately 10mm face gives the lattice room to show while remaining easy to pair with a slim hoop or fine pendant.
