Lab-grown diamond quality

Every lab-grown diamond is D–F colour and VS1 clarity or better. Round brilliant lab-grown diamonds can receive a formal cut grade; fancy shapes are assessed through their proportions, polish, symmetry and overall make. Any piece whose centre stone, on its own, weighs 1.00ct or more includes an individual IGI grading report as standard. Total carat weight does not count towards this.
Generous does not have to mean heavy. Nell lines a silver wishbone with 0.66ct of round lab-grown diamonds, bringing plenty of presence to a shape that stays easy to wear every day.
Its line is formed from 37 prong-set round lab-grown diamonds rather than a single centre. Thirty measure 1.60mm, six measure 1.50mm and one measures 1.90mm. Together they follow both arms of the wishbone in 925 sterling silver. The slight change of scale adds a final point of interest while preserving the clean, recognisable sweep.

Every piece is crafted to your chosen metal and size. Our usual timeline is around four weeks from order to dispatch. More complex pieces may take slightly longer. We confirm the expected timeframe in writing before production begins.
Nell is happy as the only ring on the hand, where the silver wishbone and its 37 stones can lead. A small silver pendant or studs will support it without repeating its curve. If you own a solitaire, the V shape is made to sit around it, though the exact fit depends on the other ring.
Sterling silver naturally darkens a little over time. It is normal, and a silver polishing cloth brings it straight back. Please don't use silver dip solutions on lab-grown diamond-set pieces, as the chemicals can damage the settings. What gives Nell its generous appearance?
Nell carries 37 prong-set round lab-grown diamonds with a combined weight of 0.66ct. Thirty are 1.60mm, six are 1.50mm and one is 1.90mm, spreading the stones throughout the wishbone.
Does Nell need another ring to look complete?
No. Nell is a finished ring in its own right, with 37 round lab-grown diamonds along both arms of the wishbone in 925 sterling silver. It also sits well around a solitaire if you wear one, although the fit depends on the other ring.
Can Nell be ordered to fit my finger?
Nell is produced to the UK ring size you choose, without an added size charge. A £5 ring sizer can help you measure at home, and that £5 is then returned as a gift card.
