Lab-grown diamond quality
D–F colour · VS1 clarity or better
Every lab-grown diamond is D–F colour and VS1 clarity or better. Round brilliant lab-grown diamonds can receive a formal cut grade; fancy shapes are assessed through their proportions, polish, symmetry and overall make. Any piece whose centre stone, on its own, weighs 1.00ct or more includes an individual IGI grading report as standard. Total carat weight does not count towards this.
Mae does not sit still on the hand. A polished gold vine winds across the finger, carrying points of light along its path as though the design has grown into place. The feeling is romantic, but the uneven direction keeps it fresh and full of life.
Fourteen round lab-grown diamonds follow the vine in sizes from 1.10mm to 1.50mm. Prong and collet settings are both used, allowing different stones to punctuate different parts of the line. With 0.16ct distributed along the curling form, Mae is defined by its journey across the band rather than one centre, a garden inspired piece drawn in gold and light.

Mae turns the band itself into the attraction, using a winding gold vine to lead through 14 round lab-grown diamonds. Their changing sizes and two setting styles give the 0.16ct design a lively, organic rhythm, with D to F colour and VS1 clarity or better throughout. Choose 14kt for the harder, more scratch-resistant gold, or 18kt for more pure gold and a heavier feel. A separate 925 sterling silver version is available.

Mae's winding line works beautifully as the main detailed ring on the hand. Pair it with jewellery that uses simple curves or polished metal, leaving the vine room to travel visually. Yellow and rose gold bring out the garden inspired shape, while white gold gives the stones a paler setting.
Why does Mae use two types of setting?
Mae combines prong and collet settings along its gold vine. The 1.10mm, 1.30mm and 1.40mm round lab-grown diamonds are prong set, while the eight 1.50mm round lab-grown diamonds use collet settings.
